Mary J Geiger

Born May 27,1938 in Bressler, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Zart) Zerance; and preceded in death by her husband, Robert Geiger; five brothers, Michael Zerance, Edward Zerance, James Zerance and Robert “Blackie” Zerance; and two sisters, Rose Ann Druwett and Peggy Brantner.

Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Shatto and her husband, Scott and Christine Marsh and her husband, Joseph; son, William Zerance; three grandchildren, Michelle Erno, Marrissa Rettger and Benjamin Shatto; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Erno and Cecelia Erno; and two brothers, Richard Zerance and John Zerance.

Mary was a retired building manager for the PA. Department of General Services and a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 13,2026 at the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be from 10:00 AM Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
