Reen,
Happy Birthday.  I will miss our yearly birthday exchanges that have gone on for 50+ years.  We became a force of nature when I was 14 and you were 15 years  old.  BFFs  We packed in a lot of experiences in those years, good and bad, but mostly great.  So many memories.  I wouldn't change a thing. I will keep them all close to my heart.  Thank you for being the caring, kind, loyal friend that you are.  I love and will miss you 💗

I’m sitting here tonight, the day after Maureen’s funeral, thinking about all of the great times we had together. I will never forget you Reen, you supported me through so many changes in our lives. You never judged, you always wanted to take care of your friends.  My heart breaks that you are no longer here. You have certainly earned your way to heaven! I know it’s a late sentiment, but I’m so sorry I didn’t call you more.  I will always remember you wanting to take care of everyone except yourself. That’s who you are! Maureen was a beautiful, kind, generous woman. I loved her wry sense of humor! Our conversations always left me smiling and uplifted. Maureen became close with my younger sister Kathy and godmother to her first daughter. I now live on the West Coast and regret I can't be there to celebrate Maureen's life. Wishing comfort and peace to her family and friends.
