Phillip was born and raised in Somerset County, PA, and was the son of the late Richard and Anna (Berkebile) Mostoller. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Esther J. Mostoller.
His strong work ethic began at an early age, when he started working at his uncle's garage at 12 years old. Phillip proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Korea before being sent home following the passing of his father. Phillip eventually made his home in Middletown, PA, where he worked for both Stephenson Equipment and Stewart Amos Equipment. Even after retirement, Phillip wasn't ready to slow down and valued working in the Deli Department at Weis Markets.
In his free time, Phillip enjoyed watching golf and NASCAR and cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers. Another favorite pastime was taking bus trips to the casino and making memories along the way.
Surviving is his son, Gregory (Cindy) Mostoller; his cherished grandchildren, Owen and Avrie Mostoller; his sisters; Fayann (AJ) Clark, Connie Strickland, Sandy Warren, and Sharon Duckett; and his many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
