From a young age, Robert discovered his passion for radio. At just 14 years old, he began working at a local radio station sweeping floors, quickly realizing he had found his calling. His voice and presence became a familiar and beloved part of the communities he served.
In the 1990s, Robert made a meaningful career change, becoming a probation officer with Dauphin County Adult Probation and Parole. As a Work Release Supervisor, he was dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives by assisting them in finding employment, reflecting his deep commitment to helping others.
In addition to his professional life, Robert was known for his tireless work as a wedding DJ, spending nearly every weekend throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s helping couples celebrate some of the most important moments of their lives.
Robert was also deeply involved in his community. Robert was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church. He generously volunteered his time with several organizations, including the Tri-County Association for the Blind. He served as a host for the annual WITF Auction, the Penbrook Halloween Parade, and as an emcee for the Holy Name festivals, bringing energy, warmth, and enthusiasm to every event he touched.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Beverly D. Klepic.
