

Billy Ray Roberts of Apple Valley, passed away suddenly Monday, September 14, 2020 at the age of 72. He was born in 1948 in Mississippi, lived some of his childhood in Illinois and eventually ended up settling his life in Apple Valley, California. He was a well-respected law enforcement officer to the state for 20+ years before retiring to spend more time with the love of his life, Rosemarie.
Billy’s biggest passion in life was his family. He always wanted to ensure the well-being of his family and always wanted to make sure everyone was ok, which was also one of his final wishes before he passed. He also enjoyed; his coin collection, cheering on the Dodgers and the Lakers, spoiling Fifi and Princess, his two Pomeranians and being with his wife, Rosemarie. Whether that meant watching her cook, gamble or even taking a simple trip to Costco, he just loved being with her.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 30+ years Rosemarie Roberts, his mother Cara Hill, father Dewitt Roberts, brothers Dewitt Jr. Roberts and Tommy Roberts and sister Anna Canizales . He is survived by his two siblings John Roberts and Bobbie Hodkin, 5 children, Christille Garcia (Eddie Garcia), Bill Roberts (Patricia Roberts), Jonathon Brown (Elva Gonzalez), Monique Lopez, and Jillian Brazier (Rick Baumann). Along with 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous others who loved him so very much.
Billy will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

Memorial Service will be held at Kern Hesperia Mortuary,16120 Main St. Hesperia, CA on November 7 at 2:00PM.
