Bobby Gene Brown, 47, passed away on October 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service. He was born on May 11, 1978, and lived a life defined by his devotion to family, friends, and community.
Bobby proudly served in the U.S. Navy and continued his dedication to others through his involvement with the American Legion Post 229, the American Legion Riders, and as a member of the Elks Lodge in Victorville. Known for his generous heart, Bobby was always finding ways to give back—especially to fellow veterans and those in need. He was particularly proud to have started the Tri-State Poker Run, raising funds to support the Ronald McDonald House.
When he wasn’t serving others, Bobby could be found doing what he loved most—BBQing for big family gatherings, traveling with family, riding his motorcycle with the American Legion Riders, or enjoying a good game of softball, basketball, baseball, or golf.
He had a love for good food and good company—especially Santa Maria-style tri-tip, chicken alfredo, homemade buttermilk pancakes, his wife’s potato salad, and banana pudding. His favorite drinks included a Coke or Mountain Dew, and on occasion, a Double Captain and Coke.
Bobby was the kind of person who never met a stranger. He talked to everyone, remembered names, and could run into someone he knew almost anywhere he went. Known for his warm hugs and his unwavering work ethic, Bobby left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Miriama Manua-Brown; his sons, Toalii and Callen, and his daughter, Emily. He also leaves behind a wide circle of family, friends, and fellow veterans who will cherish his memory forever. Bobby is preceded in death by his sons, Lil Bobby and Dino.
Bobby's life was one of service, laughter, and love - a true example of what it means to live with purpose and heart. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
