Carol Jean De Sousa

Carol Jean De Sousa, 74, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. She was born on August 13, 1951, and throughout her life, she was known for her loving, caring, strong, and funny spirit. Carol’s greatest joy was her family, and she treasured the time she spent with them.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Luis H. De Sousa; her children, Kimberly and Ronnie Raymond, and Luis J. and Angie De Sousa; and her sister, Connie De Sousa.

Carol was a proud grandmother to Jamie; Kaddron and Stephen; Cameron and Aurora; and Paige and Evan. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Madelyn and Lola, nephew Kenny and niece Shannon De Sousa and many more who brought her endless happiness.

In addition to her family, Carol shared many close friendships with Sue and Steve, Mary and Robert, and Linda, who will deeply miss her presence.

Carol enjoyed camping, playing bingo, and watching TV. She found delight in simple pleasures like In-N-Out and McDonald’s fries with a chocolate shake. Her favorite colors were pink, yellow, and pastels, which reflected her bright and warm personality.

She was often remembered for her sayings - “Go to sleep,” “Absolutely,” and “I’m not sleeping, just resting my eyes”—which captured her humor and down-to-earth nature.

Carol leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and laughter. She will be remembered always as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

A visitation and funeral service for Carol will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel-Hesperia, 16120 Main Street, Hesperia, California 92345, followed by a visitation from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
