

David was a dedicated individual who excelled in both his educational pursuits and professional career. He obtained his BS in Electrical Engineering from West Coast University and a Masters in Computer Science from UCLA. His passion for learning and innovation was evident throughout his life. He worked as an Engineering Manager for over 36 years at Librascope, where he made significant contributions and left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the U.S. and international defense industry.
In his free time, David indulged in various hobbies that brought him joy and relaxation. He enjoyed writing, gardening, feeding the songbirds in his yard and tinkering with electrical devices. These activities allowed him to express his creativity.
He will be remembered as a beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and devoted friend. He was a fiercely independent, loving individual and is survived by his children, Glenda Sue Kent, David Ray Gardner, Andrew James Gardner and Thomas Lee Gardner and his siblings James D. Gardner, William Henry Gardner and Patricia Jane Gardner. He is s also survived by 12 grandchildren and dozens of nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
A ceremony to honor and remember David will be held at Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville, CA, on Friday April 19th at 10 a.m. His family, friends and colleagues are invited to pay their respects and celebrate his remarkable life. David will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of hard work, dedication and passion will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
