
Donna Talma Grantham, 94, of Victorville, California passed away on April 29, 2026. Donna was born April 5, 1932 in Bakersfield, CA, to Ray and Reeta (Morrow) Gardner. After the Santa Fe Railroad transferred her father to Seligman, Arizona, she attended school there, graduating in 1949 as Class Valedictorian.
Most of her working years were spent in the legal field, having worked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, then for a firm of defense attorneys, and later as a court reporter. In her free time Donna enjoyed time with her family and friends, and she loved to sew. She was an accomplished seamstress, making many of her own clothes as well as a wide range of other functional and decorative items.
Donna married Darrell Grantham in 1978. Upon retirement they moved to Bishop, CA, in 1987, where they spent many happy hours together fishing the Owens River and surrounding lakes. In 2023 Donna moved to Victorville, CA, to be closer to family.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Gardner, and her husband Darrell. She is survived by her three children from her first marriage to Howard A. Taylor: Steve Taylor, Janet Taylor, and Tim Taylor. She is also survived by offspring of her son Steve and his beloved wife Cathy, who blessed Donna with three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Donna is to be cremated, without services, in accordance with her wishes.
