Born to parents Warren Douglas and Helen Mae Hill, in Ely, Nevada. The first 17 years of his were spent in Teton, Idaho. He enlisted in the Army at that point, where he traveled to Germany and ultimately Southern California. There he began a career in Construction an a shade tree mechanic.
He was a stern father, but a loving one of four. As time passed he was a loved and admired grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
Jerome is survived by two daughters, Ellen Mae Quintana and Theresa Jean Douglas. His two sons James Eugene Douglas and Mark Bruce Douglas. He is a grandfather of nine Shaun, Roy, Ashley, Christopher, Joshua, Victor, Vanessa, Jerry, and Samantha. Also a great-grandfather to 17. He was a brother to David Douglas and Live in partner Elaine Rush.
He went to be with the lord on May 4th, 2026. He is gone but never forgotten.
