Joyce Mae Cowan

Joyce Mae Entwistle Misener Cowan went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2019. She was born on February 20, 1945 in Fall River, MA and moved to CA when she was 3. She graduated in 1962 from Los Altos High School in La Puente. The following year, she married Raymond Misener, and they had 3 children: John, Sherry and Wendy. Joyce was a homemaker but also worked many jobs outside the home. Her favorite was at a bank in Hesperia, at which she worked for 17 years. Joyce married Preston Cowan, her soulmate, on November 22, 2003. She gained three new adult children, Bryan, Rodney and Kerry, whom she loved and adored; together they became the Brady bunch, but without Alice. Joyce loved to travel with her husband, enjoyed family activities, savored time with their grandchildren and delighted in watching the sprinklers water the back yard. Joyce also loved the Lord with all her heart, soul and might! Joyce has been a member of Oasis of Faith Church in Hesperia since 2003. Thank you Pastor Darrell Harrelson for your love and care through the years. She is survived by her husband, 6 children, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law, 13 grandchildren, 8 3/4 great grandchildren, 2 "adopted" grandchildren and her dog Fiona.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 @ 11 AM at Oasis of Faith Christian Center , 17250 Lemon St. Hesperia, California
