Lorenzo James Lewis

Lorenzo Lewis (Baby Face) entered into life on Wednesday, October 18, 1967, in Torrance California to the proud parents of Clyde Lewis and Anne Marie Jones. Lorenzo began and ended his education In the Long Beach Unified School District. In 1986, at the young age of nineteen Lorenzo met the love of his life Beverly and their son Ronnie. The two married in 2004 and from this union, they were blessed with Lauren Lewis and Travis Lewis.

Lorenzo worked thirteen years faithfully for the County of Los Angeles until his health would no longer permit him to work. Lorenzo was a loving and supportive husband, father, brother, and friend. He loved football, as a 49er fan; He loved music, specifically oldies. His favorite rap artist was the legendary Tupac Shakur.

Lorenzo accepted Jesus Christ in his life at a young age and always had a love for God in his heart. Lorenzo was a very deep thinker and was methodical about the choices he made. He had a love for fine clothes and was known for dressing sharp. He was a giving, dependable, loyal, and reliable friend and expected his friends to be the same to him. He was just an all-around stand- up person a true man of valor and was loved by many.

Lorenzo departed this life on Monday, February 10, 2020. Preceding him in death was his Mother Anne Marie Jones and his father Clyde Lewis.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his Wife, Beverly Dana Lewis; sons, Ronnie Kirkwood; Travis Lewis; Daughter Lauren Alese Lewis; Granddaughter’s Chaise Kirkwood; Alonah Price; Laiah Kirkwood ; Grandson’s Ronnie Kirkwood Jr.; Kashmir Kirkwood; Riley Kirkwood; Roland Kirkwood; Channing (Blue) McArthur; Brother Antoine Lewis; Sister Debra Lewis; Sister-in-law Debra Rodriguez; Nephew Darion Briggs, and a host of family and friends.
