In loving memory of Lyall Alexander Sr, born on February 6th, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri. His journey led him from Missouri, Illinois to Orange County at the age of 14, and later to Ontario during his senior year of high school, where he proudly graduated from Chaffey in 1963.
A true patriot, Lyall joined the naval reserve during his Junior year, later transitioning to active duty. He served with honor in Guam and Vietnam as a dedicated Seabee.
Lyall found joy in the simple pleasures of life - camping, fishing, and the serenity of the river. His passion for old western movies and watching Angels baseball games brought him immense joy. "Smokey and the Bandit" held a special place in his heart as his all-time favorite movie.
In 1978, he shared a profound moment, being baptized alongside his son, Lyall Alexander Jr.
Family held a special place in his heart. Lyall is survived by his loving wife, Karyn Alexander, and their two sons, Lyall Alexander Jr and Glenn Alexander Sr, as well as their cherished Daughter-in-laws, Jo’ann Alexander and Stephanie Alexander. Along with 10 grandchildren and spouses. Courtney, Brittney(Nick), Ashly(Gary), Roxanne(Anthony), Cheyannne(David), Lyall III(Megan), Glenn jr, Andrew(Jessie), Josh and David. 10 great-grandchildren. Blake, Elias, Natalie, Alina, Avery, Andrew Jr, Nathan, Briseis, Raya, and October.
Lyall's commitment to love was beautifully symbolized by celebrating his marriage twice, on January 14th, 1967, and rekindling those vows on January 14th, 1994.
May Lyall Alexander Sr's legacy of love, dedication, and joyful moments forever live on in our hearts.
