She was born in England but raised in Southern California, where she spent most of her life.
Her early career was spent in the printing/book binding business serving the hospitality industry, where she managed all aspects of a small but well-regarded company for many years. Later in life Melanie relocated to Hesperia and enjoyed working in the real estate industry. Melanie was very bright, engaging and valued attention to detail, which made this role a natural fit.
Melanie was loved by all who knew her and will always be remembered for her kind heart, vivacious personality, infectious laugh and incredible taste and style. She was the life of every party she attended.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her partner of 32 years. She leaves behind family and friends who will miss her deeply but will smile at the mention of her name. Melanie was a bright light in our lives.
