Richard Thomas Logsdon

Born, August 11, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to William Lawrence and Margaret Wessie Logsdon both of Kentucky.

He was the 3rd child having been born after twin sisters. With only one surviving, Barbara Logsdon Cole of Louisville, Kentucky. She leaves him 5 nieces all from Kentucky.

He married his soul mate at the age of 23, Susan Lorene Goff when she was just 18 and they were married 58 years and 363 days. They shared 2 children, Gary Rhae 59, and Deanna Lynn who they lost to a brain tumor at the age of 21. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nicole ( the second love of his life). Joseph and Alexis and predeceased by Mackenzie. Great Grandchildren Matthew, Mackenzie, Alexandria, Zoe, Maxton and predeceased by Grayson.

He was an accomplished welder and later went into HVAC as a trade. He retired at the age of 64 after over 40 years of active work force starting at an early age working at the Catholic Church as a janitor to pay his own way through school. He also was an alter boy at the said church.

He was a great outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed dirt bike riding and joined the safari trail riders as a big weekend hobby. He also joined the Pasadena speed boat club not only for the boating but for the wonderful people and entertainment all provided.

He died on June 1, 2026 after many years of complications due to an infection in his foot and will be so missed by all who loved him.
