Sandra Gay Wilkinson

Sandra Gay White Wilkinson, 81, passed away February 25, 2025 in Hesperia, California. She was born May 23, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to James Richard White and Pauline Francis Powers. She was later sealed to her father and Dorothy May Swisher.

She married Michael Kane Wilkinson, May 23, 1968 in the Los Angeles Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sandy served faithfully in several capacities including the presidencies of the Relief Society and Primary. She loved teaching the children in Primary. She was also a member of the DUP (Daughters of the Utah Pioneers). During local, state and national elections, she helped patrons coming to cast their votes.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Kane Wilkinson of Hesperia, CA; daughter, Laurie Ann Ogle of Victorville, CA and daughter, Jennifer Marie Wilkinson of Hesperia, CA; grandchildren, David Alan Barnard, William James Ogle, Jr. and Hollie Ann Ogle; sisters: Sonja (Al) White Hamilton, Nancy Darlene (Wade) White Bustle, Myra Deborah White, and Carolyn Corder.

Other survivors include brothers-in-law Randall (Verda) Wilkinson, Jody Alan Sweet, Dana Cary Sweet and sister-in-law, Caroline (Randy) Sweet Lawson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Richard White and Dorothy May Swisher, her birth mom, Pauline Francis Powers; brothers: Peter White, John Konrad White; sisters: Kaaren Jean White Arney, Beverly Marie White Enser; and brother-in-law , Ronald Enser.

Other family members preceding her in death include Carol Jean White , grandmother, Edith Hortense Ogle Shook, grandfather, James Henry White, mother-in-law, Micke Noyes Ford Sweet.
