Allen, together with Connie and Rand, had such a positive impact on me and my family........a truly inspirational man and a great human being. With the sadness I take joy in the thought that his energy is re-united with that of Connie and Rand. In loving memory,
John Steenson. Ex-Solgar UK

I have lost my best friend, but the health food community lost a true champion. Allen Skolnick was more than an industry-changing pioneer. Allen Skolnick led the industry into becoming science-based, he led efforts to keep industry regulators lawful, and spear-headed Congressional efforts to protect health freedom. Besides his creation of the Solgar Nutritional research center in 1979, Allen Skolnick sponsored research projects and researchers at several universities in the US, Canada and Israel. Even to his last days, he was generously sponsoring biochemical, nanotechnology and cancer research in several universities. Allen Skolnick was a very good man.

Although I only knew Allen and Connie Skolnick through horse racing, they were among the finest people I ever encountered. The Skolnicks and through Southwind Farms probably have the finest reputation in the horse racing business. They were a testament to integrity, honesty and good will. They will be missed. My condolences to all of the Skolnick family.
