Ronald Blinderman, passed on June 3, 2015. Bert was born in Brooklyn on June 29, 1928 & was married to Carol Kristel in 1956. Carol passed in 2003. Bert was the proud father of Lisa (Gendal-Buchalter), Richard Rothkopf and Mitchell Rothkopf (deceased) & father in law to Perry Buchalter & Laurie Rothkopf. Bert is survived by his brother and sister in law Gene & Rita Rothkopf, sister in law Marilyn Silverman, brother in law Ira Kristel, grandchildren Stephanie & Joshua Gendal, Mac & Charlie Rothkopf, Alyssa Baer, David & Sarie Buchalter and Daniel Buchalter. Graveside services will be held on Sun June 7, 2015 at New Mount Carmel Cemetery - Queens at 10:30 AM. The family will sit Shiva at the home of Rita and Gene Rothkopf on Sun June 7, 2015 from 3-10 pm; and at the home of Lisa Gendal and Perry Buchalter on Tues/Wed June 9, 2015 and June 10, 2015 from 3-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Temple Beth Torah Sha'aray Tzedek in Tamarac Fl.
