Burton Lazarow

Burton Lazarow, 78, of Bethesda, MD passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 after a long illness. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Professionally, he devoted his life to Jewish Communal Service as Executive Director of the Jewish Federation in Western Connecticut and then in Central New Jersey; Associate Vice President of B’nai Brith International; and Executive Director at American Friends of Rabin Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; daughters Dodi (Jon) Friedenberg and Sharon (Larry) Moelis; six grandchildren, Ryann, Talia, Eve, Sam, Isaac, and Nathan; sister, Anita Klein; and brother, Alan Lazarow. A graveside ceremony will be held Monday, June 19, 11am at Kensico Cemetery (Sharon Gardens), 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY 10595. Shiva following (415-497-7967).
