Carlene Chalphin, 85 formerly of Valley Stream, New York passed away on January 29, 2016. Carlene was born in the Bronx, New York to the late Herman and Rose (Wizniak) Robbins. She was pre-deceased in life by her beloved husband of 62 years, Sidney Chalphin. Carlene is survived by her loving children Jeryl (Don), Andrea (Mark) and Dana (Kevin); Carlene also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren Scott (Ainslee), Robert, Ryan, Joshua and Rachel and her great grandson Jordan to cherish her memory forever. Carlene loved to play Mahjong, Canasta and going to Atlantic City, but most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, New York. Shiva services will take place at the home of Dana & Kevin Brandes immediately following services through 8:00pm, Monday, February 1, 1:00pm - 5:00pm & 7:00pm - 9:00pm and Tuesday, February 2, 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
