Cory I. Vogel, 27, passed away on August 18, 2014 at his home in Washington, D.C. Cory was born on June 5, 1987 to Jay and Lisa Vogel. He graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he majored in history.
Cory was an Immigration Officer at the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Since he was a young boy, Cory dreamed of working at the White House. By the time of his death, he achieved that dream. At the time of his passing, Cory was detailed to the National Security Council at the White House.
Cory is survived by his parents, Jay and Lisa, and his brothers, Joshua (Lindsay) and Ben. He will also be remembered by his extended family and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 11:30 a.m. at New MonteFiore Cemetery in West Babylon, New York.
