She was the daughter of the late Myron Shube and Lucille (Lieberman) Shube. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Dr. Milton Levine. She is survived by her adored sons, Dr. Benjamin (Mindy), Dr. Daniel (Myrna) and Arthur Levine Ferrante (Anthony), eight cherished grandchildren and one great- grandchild, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her dear sister, Beatrice Friedman Lichtenstein, and her adored brother, Eugene Shube.
Eileen taught elementary school in New York and Massachusetts. She was a passionate gardener, a talented quilter and an enthusiastic tennis player. The focus and joy of her life was her beloved family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, or the charity of your choice.
A Chapel Service will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 11:00 in the morning at Boulevard Riverside Chapels at 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, NY. Burial will follow at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, New York.
