Martin Abbey, age 89, of West Hempstead, New York, passed away on April 19, 2023. Born on March 13, 1934, Marty was a beloved husband, father, uncle, and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Marian, son Mark, and daughter-in-law Sara. This June would have been Marty and Marian’s 67th wedding anniversary. A graveside funeral service will start promptly at 2:00 pm at the New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 North Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, New York. Please arrive by 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charities that support children, a cause close to Marty’s heart.
