Sharon, you were a part of my family for more than 40 years. And, even though I've lived out of New York for almost all of that time, I always considered you part of our family. I always admired you for your dedication to serving people, and for your commitment to your patients. You are - and will always be - missed. Rest in peace, dear Sharon. - Stephen Winston

It is with great sadness that I heard of Sharon's passing yesterday.  She was a woman and friend of tremendous warmth and heart.  As a nurse her integrity and commitment to always doing the right thing for her staff and her patients was unequal.  She taught me many things......she will be missed.

I will forever miss your spirit and your kindness. You never took no for an answer, nobody could ever take your place, Your ability to advocate for those who could not advocate for themselves is my fondest memory of you....you gave until there was nothing left to give....endless hours and nights will never be forgotten may you rest in solemnly peace for you suffered so much...my god have taken you into his arms and made your transition a peaceful one...life here on earth was tuff in the last days.
