Angeline Baker Otto

Angeline Otto(nee Baker), age 92, of Crown Point, formerly of Highland, passed away January 10, 2011. She is survived by her sister-in-law: Lorraine Otto; cousin Ralph(Rose) Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1990 and her parents: Ralph and Maude Baker. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 9:30 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd.(2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, Indiana, with Randy Harrison, Minister, officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, Indiana. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 3-8 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home. The Order of the Eastern Star, Griffith Chapter, will hold services Friday evening, time pending. Angeline was a graduate of East Chicago Washington High School. She was a telephone operator for several years at Inland Steel. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Stars(Indiana Harbor and Griffith Chapters), and was the longtime secretary of the Indiana Harbor Chapter. She was also a member of Phi Mega. She enjoyed sewing. She will be missed by her family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to Harbor Light Hospice.
