Ann C. Clauson

Ann C. Clauson passed away in Munster, IN, on April 14, 2026. Ann was born to parents Frank and Anna Aiello on June 5, 1938, in Chicago, IL. Ann is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth H. Clauson; and son, Kenneth "Ken" M. Clauson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Frank Aiello; sister, Theresa Marie; and brother, James. 

The family of Ann would like to express a special thanks to Debbie Herman, and Melinda, and from Fresenius Kidney Care, April, Richie, and Louie, and neighbors, Greg and Antonella, and Brian and Jen.

Services will be held on April 27, 2026, at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Avenue, Highland, IN, 46322, with visitation from 9:45 am until the time of funeral mass at 11:00 am.

Ann will be remembered as a devoted homemaker whose life was centered around caring for the people she loved most. She took great pride in creating a warm, welcoming home and was deeply committed to the well-being of her family.

Ann found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved antiquing, always on the lookout for treasures with a story to tell, and she cherished traveling and exploring new places. In the kitchen, she expressed her love through cooking, bringing family and friends together over shared meals. She also enjoyed playing cards with her cousins, filling those moments with laughter and lasting memories.

Family and friendship were at the heart of Ann’s life. She made it a priority to stay connected, often reaching out by telephone just to check in, share a story, or brighten someone’s day. Her gift for storytelling made every conversation special, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy to many.

Ann’s compassion was especially evident in the loving care she provided to her disabled sister over many years. She gave selflessly, with patience, strength, and unwavering devotion.

She also treasured her time with her Crivitz, WI "family," where she found peace, happiness, and many cherished moments.

Ann will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her.
