Barbara Jeane Bardon Trimble

The angels came and carried Barbara Jeane into her eternal home, at rest and at peace with our Lord, on July 7, 2014. She was the oldest child of Richard P. and Marge E. (Imbler) Bardon. Shortly after graduating from Hammond Tech she married Gerald E. Trimble. They were blessed with two children: Karen (Rex) Lott and Patrick E. Trimble. Barbara was a gifted artist, whether it was playing piano, sewing, ceramics, needlework, etc. These lifelong passions were matched equally by her enjoyment. Barbara led a deeply devoted Christian life with her most active years at the First Church of Christ in Highland. Barbara was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and her family will cherish and miss her always. She is survived by her children; sisters: Margaret (Mike) Perz, Judy Borroel, Patti (Dan) Bannon; grandchildren: Derek Nail, Mysti, Rachel Joseph, Brian, Caleb Trimble, their Mother, Michelle; great grandchildren: Gideon and Sabrina; along with a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives and loving friends.

We will have funeral services on Friday, July 11 at 11:30 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland with Randy Harrison, minister officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM (time of service). Please visit www.kuiperfh.com
