Carol V. Dunn
December 16, 1936 – November 18, 2019
Carol V. Dunn (nee Minch) Griffith, IN Carol V. Dunn age 82, peacefully passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 with her loving daughter by her side. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Debra L. Ward; son, Dennis L. Dunn; grandchildren, Christopher Ward, Kathryn Ward and Carolynn Ward; great grandson, Kendall Hedgepeth; brother, Donn (Carol) Minch; many nieces, nephews and special friend and caregiver, Judy Ward. Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. Dunn and step-mother, Cora Jane Minch. Carol was born December 16, 1936 in Chicago, IL to the late Wilbert and Dorothy Minch and was a 1955 graduate of Hammond Technical-Vocational High School. On October 27, 1956, she married the love of her life and together they raised 2 children. Carol was employed at the Hammond Credit Bureau as a finance officer. She then went on to retire from The Griffith Shopper as a correlator of news articles. She loved all animals and enjoyed working out in her yard. Carol was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home (9039 Kleinman Road Highland, IN) with Shawn Cornett, Minister officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
