It Is With Great Sadness That We Announce The Passing Of Carol A. Thilmont (nee Borbely) On Tuesday October 29th 2024 At The Age Of 84. Carol Is Survived By Her Loving Husband Of 65 Years, John, 3 Daughter's That Were Her Heart And Soul, Mari-Jo (Michael) Olenik, JoEllen Thilmont (Ken Cook) and Lisa (Jerry) Urankar 9 Grandchildren, Leah (Andrew) Faga, Rebekah Olenik (Michael Kras), Michael (Nicole) Olenik, Daniel (Ashley) Giangiulio, Angela (Adam) Gentle, Natalie (Ty) Grissom, Nicholas (Chelssie) Urankar, Mitchell (Samantha) Urankar and Cari (Dave) Rodriguez. 18 Great Grandchildren, Zach, Ava, Ben, Nick, Matthew, Emily, Abby, Joey, Lou, Henry, Callie, Kahlani, Jada, Atley, Marshall, Matilda, Carmen, Emery and 1 Due In January 2025. Her Sister-in-law, Wendy Borbely, Niece, Morgan (late Chris) Orrick, Nephew, Matthew (Jenn) Borbely And Many Cousins. Carol Was Proceeded In Death By Her Parents Kalman And Mary Borbely And Her Brother Kalman L. (Buddy) Borbely.

Carol Was A Lifelong Resident Of Hammond Indiana And A Graduate Of Hammond High School. Carol Met John At A Edison School Dance On September 25th, 1955. They Dated For 3 Years Before Their November 22nd, 1958 Wedding At St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Carol Was A Stay At Home Wife, Mother And Caretaker. She Will Be Dearly Missed By Everyone Who Knew And Loved Her. May She Rest In Peace. Memory Eternal.

The Family Wishes To Thank Hartsfield Village And Dunes Hospice For The Care They Gave To Carol During Her Illness.

As Per Carol's Request, There Will Be No Funeral Services Held. Burial Will Be Private And Held At A Later Date.
