Carroll D. Muffett “Red” age 92 of Munster, IN; passed away October 4, 2016, he is survived by his wife of 69 years Yvonne, son Larry Muffett, of Skokie, IL, daughter-in-law Ellen (late James) Muffett of TX, 3 grandchildren Adam (Stephanie) Muffett of Washington D. C.; Beth Muffett of Austin, TX, Andrew (Cindy) Muffett of Lafayette, IN, three great-grandchildren Clarabelle, Branch, Lydia Muffett, special friend Richard Hawkins. Funeral services will be held Friday October 7, 2016, 11:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN Rev. Tim Powers officiating, burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday morning from 9 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Mr. Muffett was a member of The Frist United Methodist Church of Griffith; he was a US Navy World War II veteran, member of The McKinley Masonic Lodge 712 F & A M. He married Yvonne in June 14, 1947, he was a retired pipe draftsmen’s. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of The Calumet Area.
