I sit here and ponder what words I could possibly write, that would describe and honor such a patriarch of a man. A man that I had the privilege and honor of meeting and getting to know. My heart fills with joy but bitter sadness as well, as I recall my favorite weekend in Black oak. I will never forget sitting in the porch with Mr. And Mrs. Cecil Henson . While he sipped on his Diet Dr. Pepper on a rainy Sat in May. Figeting with a radio Chad had brought him. I remember his story's about the town's people, and the town he so humoristocly described in his funny way. His family and especially his children. His children wich he adored wether he said it out loud or not . His old world charm and Witt cannot be replaced. His welcoming of me into his home that weekend, and sharing his AMAZING homemade chicken and dumplings. Told me I was also welcomed in his heart. And therefore I will always treausure this simple memory. My memory that will never be relived, but will always play like an endless movie in my heart and mind. Mr. Henson now that you and Mrs Henson are with your king in heaven. I hope you love ,laugh, sing. And most importantly I hope you dance. Rest and sleep in heavenly peace. Forever and ever in our hearts .
