Connie L. Lind Swickard

Connie L. Swickard, age 56, of Merrillville, passed away January 27, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Bob; son: Bryan Swickard of CA; daughter: Kelly(Rob) Baker of the US Marines; six grandchildren; sister: Marilyn Stevens of Valparaiso; three brothers: David Murchek of Texas, George(Nancy) Murcheck of Hobart, Alan Murchek of CA; two sisters-in-law: Muriel Murchek of Hammond and Terry Murchek of Hobart. She was preceded in death by her parents: Morris Lind and Evelyn Murchek, and dad Paul Murchek ; and two brothers: Paul Murchek and Tom Murchek. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd.(2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, Indiana, with Pastor David Kipp, officiating. Interment at Memory Lane Memorial Park, Schererville, Indiana. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 3-8 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home. Connie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Crown Point. She was employed by Senior Helpers in Crown Point and was very active in home health care. Connie was an avid Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan.
