Dickey Tucker

Dickey Tucker, age 65, of Highland, IN passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia (nee Stevenson) Tucker; two sons: Christopher (Suzanne) Tucker and Kevin (Rachael) Tucker; grandson, Warren Tucker; three brothers: Dewey (Wanda) Tucker, Willie (Goldie) Tucker and Clayburn Tucker; sister, Brenda Lyell; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by son, Richard Eugene Tucker; and parents: Thurman Tucker and Rozellar Biniecki. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Tom Metzger officiating. Cremation will follow service. Friends are invited to meet with the family Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. (time of service) at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mr. Tucker retired from Union Tank Car with 30 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed wood-working and was an avid Cubs fan.
