Donna Rhea Merrick

She leaves behind her two daughters, Pamela (Roger) Duszynski Jr. and Michelle Merrick; eight grandchildren, Roger Duszynski III, Katlyn Duszynski, Austin Merrick, Alani Shelton, Aaliyah Merrick, Olivia Duszynski, Xavier Torres, and Gemariah Merrick; one brother Michael Eli Abbott, and seven great grandchildren. Donna is welcomed into eternity by her former husband, Carl Stanley Merrick who maintained a friendship with Donna; her sisters Sharon Abbott and Grace Abbott Dodson; and parents William and June Abbott.

Donna is a daughter of the Most High. She is cherished by those who knew her for her loving spirit, her kind voice, and her infectious laughter. She loved music and gatherings with family and friends. She holds those she loves and values closely to her.

A visitation for Donna will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
