Edwin L. Brumfield Jr. age 53, of Cedar Lake, IN died Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Edwin is survived by his parents Ed and Kay Brumfield of Cedar Lake, IN; two brothers Don (Lee) Brumfield of Norfolk, Virginia, Kevin (Renae) Brumfield of Crown Point, IN; three sisters Debbie (Dave) Mazur of Highland, IN, Pam (Dan) Welch of Hebron, IN, and Kim (Rich) Salinas of Hebron, IN; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN at 9:30 AM officiated by Randy Harrison, minister. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Friday May 25, 2012 from 3 to 8 PM. Edwin retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service.
