Estelle was my Social Studies teacher in seventh grade at Highland Middle school during the 1999-2000 school year. I am very saddened to learn of her passing, which I recently became aware of as a result of the scholarship fund that was created in her name.  I offer my heartfelt condolences to her family.

Thank you all who left words here for my Mom. She was a great spirit, a great woman, and will be missed by many. Always in my heart Mom. I love you.

I will miss Estelle very much. I did not know she passed away and I am so sorry I didn't get one last chance to say good-bye. I will miss you Estelle.

It was a privilege to get to know Estelle, though it was for a short time; She always brightened my day with her sweet spirit.

Mrs. Becke was one of my teachers in 5th and 6th grade and I have fond memories of her.  My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

Mrs. Becke (Estelle) will be missed by all who knew her.  I fondly remember having her as a teacher in 7th grade.  She was a great teacher who put all of her students first.  Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

As President of the Ladies Aux Post 1563 I am truly sorry to loose a Sister Member at the Prime of her Life. We will say a prayer for her at our next meeting and hopefully she will hear us up in heaven.

She was a champion for education and always did everything she could to insure that  students received the best education possible...first as a teacher and then as a member of the Lake Ridge School Board.  She will be missed by all who knew her.
