Evelyn B. Brewer

Evelyn B. Brewer, age 99, of Munster, IN, passed away on August, 20, 2026. She is survived by her children, David (Cindi) Hill and Pamela (Dana) Laite; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brewer; son, Michael Hill; three brothers and five sisters.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Evelyn was born and raised in Calumet City, IL, where she remained a cherished member of the community throughout her life. She worked for more than 20 years as a sales manager at Marshall Field’s, before retiring. Evelyn was a longtime member of St. Victor’s Church in Calumet City and found her greatest joy in spending time with and making memories with her beloved grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered for the warmth she shared with her family and the many lives she touched throughout her life.
