Gary Eugene Frederick, age 68, of St. John, IN passed away Monday, November 3, 2014. Gary is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy (nee Kirkley); one son Dan (Megan) Frederick of Cedar Lake; one daughter Lisa (Michael) Day of Auburn, IN; four grandchildren Trenton, Trevor, Emma and Logan; and one brother Don (Evelyn) Frederick of IL. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8 at 10 AM at First Baptist Church of Griffith (324 N. Colfax) and officiated by Dr. Scott Hobbs. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 7 from 3-7 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland (two blocks south of Ridge Road). Gary was a member of First Baptist Church of Griffith. He was retired from Pipefitters Local 597 of Chicago after 47 years and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Griffith Building Fund.
