George C. Scott

George is survived by his children, George C. Scott II (Donna Scott), Eric Scott, and Virginia Bellamy( Eric Bellamy). Also survived by his grandchildren, Dylan Langford, Zander Scott, Zerrick Duffy, Arlea Bellamy, and Espen Bellamy. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Scott( Nee Sancya) and brother Michael Scott.

George was born on November 7th 1952 in East Chicago. He graduated from Bishop Noll in 1970 and went onto graduate from Purdue Calumet with a Bachelor's degree in Education. He was a teacher for the Lake Ridge School District for 20 years. George was also a Griffith High School swim coach and a Boy Scout troop leader for troop 531. He loved history, traveling and trains.

Friends are invited to meet with the family Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to 924 N. Lafayette Griffith, IN. All are welcome to attend and celebrate George's life.
