Glen A. Van Prooyen age 74 of Highland, IN passed away November 22,2011; he is survived by his wife Dianne of 48 years , three sons Craig (Kami) Van Prooyen , Kent Van Prooyen both of Crown point, IN, Kyle (Sandy) Van Prooyen of Munster, IN, eight grandchildren Samantha, Hanna, Abby ,Megan ,Emma, Mia, Kendall, Logan, mother Ella Van Prooyen of highland, IN two brothers Jim (Millie) Van Prooyen of Schererville, IN; Burton (Ardess) Van Prooyen of St. John, IN; Sister in Law, Terri Pawlosky of Dyer, IN; preceded in death by his father Bert, brother George. Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 29, 2011; 10:00 AM at First Christian Reformed Church of Highland, Pastor Randy Bergsma officiating, burial Hope Cemetery, friends may visit with the family on Monday November 28 from 4 to 8 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home 9039 Kleinman Rd(two blocks south of ridge Rd) Highland, IN. Glen was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Highland, retired from Van’s Home Furnishings, Veteran of the Indiana National Guard,, founded Vans Fast Pitch Softball Clinics, Glen had a special love for Highland Christian School, served on Highland Christian School & Illinia Christian School Boards. Memorial may be given to Highland Christian School
