GOLDIE C. DRASIC GARY, IN Goldie C. Drasic, age 86 of Gary, IN, passed away November 23, 2012. She is survived by three children: Michael Drasic, Judy Rodriguez and Peter (Renee) Drasic; two grandchildren: Crissy and Olivia; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Peter; son, George; granddaughter, Windy; two brothers: Andy and Willie; and two sisters: Eva and Theresa. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, IN with Rev. Stephen Loncar officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Goldie was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Croatian Catholic Church, also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose Lodge 783, Preradovic Glee Club, for many years. She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, loved to dance attend social gatherings, also loved to cook, she was the first female letter carrier in the city of Gary, IN. Thanks to all of Sebo nursing home family who helped with her care.
