Harold E. Coppage

Harold E. Coppage, age 92 of Highland, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011. He is survived by his son, Dennis (Laura) Coppage of WI; daughters: Carol (Mike) Kocon of Griffith and Susan Hunter of AZ; grandchildren: Lorri (Jamie) Cutler of MI, Kathryn Coppage of WI, and Steven (Jennifer) Kocon of Griffith; great grandchildren: Lily and Madeline; sister-in-law, Dollie (Don) Baker of Griffith; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty (nee Kistler) Coppage. Funeral services for Mr. Coppage will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Coppage was a member of The First Christian Church of Griffith. He was the retired co-owner of Griffith Furniture Store. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army Corps during WWII and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 66 of Griffith. Memorials may be made to The First Christian Church of Griffith.
