James is survived by his wife, Vickie Marcum; his son, Zachery Marcum; his son, Cody Phillips (Amy); and his daughter, Samantha Damico (Bob); granddaughter, Matilyn; his sister, Tammy Sweet (Dennis); his brother, Thom Marcum (Cindy); his brother, Tim Marcum and his brother, Mike Marcum (Toomie Farris); and his grandson, Justin Deangelo. He is loved by many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Joyce Marcum; his sister-in-law, Linda Marcum and his nephew, Drew Marcum.
James will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved camping with his family. James would watch football and NASCAR in his free time. He retired from Ford Motor Company after a 32 year career.
A Public Visitation for James will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given toward the family.
