Janet Rosalie Lashbrook

Janet was the beloved daughter of John and Josephine Popovich. She was blessed with two loving marriages; Herbert Rabb, who preceded her in death in 1973 and with whom they had a daughter, Tina Reyes, as well as Jackie Dean Lashbrook, who preceded her in death in 2005.

Janet was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and Nana whose family was always the center of her world. She was known for her strength and unwavering dedication to those she loved. A hardworking woman throughout her life, Janet faced challenges with grace and determination, always putting her family before herself.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Tina Reyes; son-in-law, David Reyes; grandchildren, Brandon Reyes, Emily (Brett Sabo) Reyes, Andrew Roman, and Ashley Roman; great-grandson, Aaron Reyes; as well as her extended family through her marriage to Jackie Dean Lashbrook, including children, Jeff Lashbrook, Steve (Sandy) Lashbrook, Lori (Luis) Roman, and Sandra (Tod) Berrettoni-Johnson

She will be deeply missed, and her memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Visitation for Janet will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 12:30 pm. Following the service, Janet will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
