Janice A. Grimm Wright

JANICE A. WRIGHT (NEE GRIMM) HAMMOND, IN Janice A. Wright (nee Grimm), age 65, of Hammond, IN passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012. She is survived by her two sons: Rollin (Debbie) Sopher of Schererville, IN and Jeff Sopher of Hammond, IN; father, Grant Grimm of Florida; three step-children: Beth Haney of Hammond, IN, Kim (Jeffrey) Meister of Arizona, and Jim Wright of Hammond, IN; seven grandchildren: Cathy (Andrew) Augustyn, Patti (Keith) Pierson; Leslie, Brittany, Casey, and Mickey Haney Jr.; and Noah Meister; two great grandchildren; two brothers: Brian (Vickie) Grimm and Steven (Debbie) Grimm; sister, Susan (Conrad) Medina; step-sister, Cathy Petyo; and several nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wright; mother, Sue Grimm; and granddaughter, Nikolina. Funeral services will be held MONDAY, April 9, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Cremation will follow service. Friends are invited to meet with the family on SATURDAY, April 7, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mrs. Wright retired from Mercantile Bank (Downtown Hammond Branch) with 29 years of service. She loved fishing, yard work, home improvement projects and Classic Cars. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janice's loving memory to the Susan B. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
