Jerry Witkowski, age 74, of Schererville, IN passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015. Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Malinda (nee Cappellano); one son Pete (Elaine) Witkowski of IL; three daughters Laura Sergott of AZ, Tammy (Jerre) Conrad of IN, and Melissa Malan of Schererville; six grandchildren and one brother Ed Marek of St. John. He was preceded in death by daughter Linda. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at Bible Baptist Church, 8720 Orchard Drive, Highland with Pastor Mike Poole officiating. Burial will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 9 to 10 AM (time of service). Jerry retired from Ford Motor Company after 26 years.
