John "Bud" Moes, age 93, formerly of Highland, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013. Bud is survived by his wife, Agnes "Nuke" of 67 years; son, John (Robyn) Moes; daughters: Karen (Jack) Brunner, and Nancy (Ben) Llanta; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; sisters: Dot Gutches and Gert Vander Ark; and sister-in-law Marietta Moes. Bud was preceded in death by brother, Don; and sisters: Mina Kornman and Jean DeLeeuw. Funeral services, officiated by Dan Kuiper, will be held at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at Kuiper Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until time of service. Bud was a member of New Life Christian Reformed Church of Highland. He served his country while in the US Army, 3rd Infantry, as a medic in World War II. Memorials may be made to Roseland Christian Ministry or Prison Fellowship. www.kuiperfh.com
