Kathleen “Kathy” A. Kooi (nee Mc Elfresh) age 51 of Crown Point passed away Wednesday June 5, 2013. Kathy is survived by husband Tom of 32 years; daughter Jamie (Eric) Colvin of St. John; son Jeremy Kooi at home; grandchildren Cheyanne and Grayson; mother Beverly Mc Elfresh of WI; and brother Robert Mc Elfresh of WA. Funeral services will be held at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland at 9:30 AM on Monday June 10, 2013. Services will be officiated by Pastor Doug Klukken and cremation is to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday June 9 from 4-8 PM. Kathy attended Free Spirit Church and had been an optician at Dean –Gross Eye Centers.
