Kerry Drew McClelland

Kerry was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He was married to his beloved wife, Valorie, for 46 years. Valorie passed on February 14, 2017, and Kerry is now reunited with the woman he loved and shared so much of his life with.

Kerry is survived by his children, Kerry W. McClelland, Christy (Norman) Flaig, and Jonathan McClelland; his brother, Richard McClelland; and his sister, Ann Thorn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Charles McClelland and Flora Mae McClelland (nee Golden); and eight of his siblings.

Kerry enjoyed watching sports, spending time with family and talking to people wherever he went.

He was also a hard worker and spent 37 years at Ford Motor Company Chicago Assembly Plant as a Chassis Repairman, before retiring in 2007. He took pride in the work he did and in providing for his family.

Most of all, Kerry was a family man. He shared many years, memories, good times, and challenges with the people he loved. He will be missed by his family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will always be remembered, loved and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9:30 am. Kerry will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Valorie, at Westville Cemetery.
