Born to George and Mary Cunningham, Larry lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication.
Larry was a proud supervisor at Bethlehem Steel, where he worked for 37 years before retiring in 2003. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his family and community. A proud veteran, Larry served in the United States Navy for two years, an experience that shaped his strong sense of discipline and responsibility.
Beyond his professional life, Larry had a passion for sports. He loved golfing and was an avid volunteer, officiating volleyball, baseball, and softball games over the years. His love for these activities reflected his belief in teamwork, fairness, and community.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Marylynn (Mark) Ferda and Jennifer (Pietro) D'Ambrosio; his son, Christopher Cunningham; his granddaughter, Colleen (Dante) Reesman; and his grandson, Blake Cunningham. He is also survived by his sister, Sandra; and his brother, William Cunningham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Cunningham; his sister, Carol Carter; and his wives, Betty Cunningham and Kathy Cunningham.
Larry’s family, friends, and all who knew him will forever cherish his memory. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
